So we have a couple of ranks in this guild and all of them are more or less IC, i.e they have an in character connection with the guild.
OOC/Plot Driver: NEW RANK! This is the rank where those who have yet to be initiated to the inquisition, simple and clear. The Plot Driver part is for the fact that there, villains and/or plot driving characters will be placed unless the character doesn't already have a place within the Blackgarde.
Affiliated- Characters that affiliates with the group, as in having vague connections, emissaries from another faction (Cenarion Circle, Earthen Ring, Kirin Tor) or if they are an event-driving character, giving missions to the Blackgarde and if you yourself plan to DM( Dungeon Master) events. Characters with a non-direct connection to the group.
Initiate- Newly initiated! This character has just joined the Blackgarde and is now officially one amongst the ranks. Want to pick an activity for your character to have outside of the missions aside from training? Then we encourage you to do so, it can be everything from sweeping the floors of the keep now and then to keep the books in the Abbey's library neatly lined up.
Support- Now we realize that not every roleplayer out there likes combat RP and prefers the social and interactive type. The Support rank is for those who wish to solely RP healers, providers, trainers( healing trainers, fighting trainers) assistants such as secritaries, errants, or bringing in missions to the Blackgarde. This rank does however not incline that you are not allowed to follow on missions to assist, seeing as the Blackgarde requires you to be able to at least defend yourself and fight to a minor degree. They add to the inquisition and are still valid members of the Blackgarde.
Guardian- Those who have gained the rank of Guardian are the ones that have proven themselves that they are capable members of the inquisition, and are entrusted more responsibility both within the field and outside it. The guardians are the bulk of the force within the Blackgarde and is the titel gained by the Initiates- when proven themselves and demed fit by their superiors.
Warden- Congratulations! You have been with the Blackgarde for sometime and shown your abilities and exceeded yourself and is deemed worthy of the rank of Warden. A lot more will be expected from you, everything from leading missions to help train the initiates. A fully fledged Warden is also expected to show respect to their superiors but also to those below them, as well as being the wiser person and not undermine ones comrades. You may have climbed in rank, however that does not rid you from showing your comrades common decency and mutual respect. (This is an IC officer post, and frequent activity is a sort of requirement for this )
Marshal- Well done Warden, you have surpassed the Grand Marshals and Inquisitors expectations of you, and you have shown strong enthusiasm and willingness to lead and protect your comrades in the field as well as encourage them. What's a Marshals duties? It all depends a lot actually, some Marshals might be more experienced in terms of combat and thus works a second-hand tactitian next to the Grand Marshal whenever he/she is out on the field.
OOCly this is an officer rank, so if you wish to be an IC officer, OOC officer involvement is required.
Inquisitor- The administrative lead figure and overall lead of the Blackgarde, makes sure things run smoothly and goes (mostly) as planned.
Grand Marshal- The militaristic lead figure, the one that leads the group upon the battlefield and co.leads the inquisition with the Inquisitor.
